In 2013, parliament discussed making changes to the law regarding sex work in Myanmar. Rights groups say that the new bill would have given sex workers more rights and better protection, but it has stalled for several years.
This week Doh Athan speaks to sex workers and hear about some of the challenges they face, including abuse, health concerns and exploitation, often at the hands of authorities.
