The number of orphans in Myanmar is on the rise. A lack of understanding about contraception, greater social freedoms, abortion being illegal and the Myanmar culture about parenting are cited as some of the reasons behind this growing problem.
This week Doh Athan spoke to two young mothers to find out why they gave away their children to an orphanage. We also find out why the number of orphans has increased so much in the past two years.
